Seth Rollins revealed what he is fundamentally wrong with the nature of Hulk Hogan and how he could amend it.

WWE is a business where wrestlers get all the pomp and luxury at their disposal. However, several superstars in the company often get trapped in the glamour world and lose sight of the reality behind it. Hulk Hogan’s name has also been on this list, with several people in the WWE pointing out that he is quite the opposite of what people expect him to be in the squared ring.

Latest to pull out a long list of allegations against the WWE legend is Seth Rollins, who made it evident that, come what may, he is not amongst those who are fond of Hulk Hogan or the kind of ideals he has represented both in and out of the ring.

Like most WWE fans, Seth Rollins was a fan of Hulk Hogan ever since he was a child. However, his views on the WWE veteran changed when he joined WWE as a professional wrestler. Recently, Seth Rollins, during an interview with RGIII and Grete Griffin on the Outta Pocket Podcast, talked about WWE veteran Hulk Hogan. The former Universal Champion shared:

Hogan has always been great to me. He was a guy who I was a fan of when I was growing up and he’s always been personally good to me, but I’m not stupid. I see everything that is out there. He is someone who is, I think, is a victim of his own ego a little bit. He just doesn’t understand how what he does affects people around him. 

Additionally, Rollins also talked about how he has created a world of his own and remains blinded by his ego, owing to the success he’s seen throughout his career in the WWE. While Hogan, according to Rollins, has gone to the lengths of his career developing his larger-than-life aura, he also discussed how he can get out of it.

During the interview, Seth Rollins shared his perspective on what it would take for Hulk Hogan to truly make amends for his past actions. Rollins expressed that the first step would involve Hogan fundamentally changing the way he thinks. He emphasized that the kind of language Hogan used—and the mindset behind it—was simply unacceptable.

According to Rollins, Hogan needed to honestly self-reflect, acknowledge the harm he caused, and start changing his toxic behavior. This included examining the origins of his views, why he embraced them, and their ongoing impact on others.

He stressed that acknowledging the validity of people’s criticisms is essential and that any apology must be genuine and heartfelt. Without accountability and a willingness to evolve, Rollins stated he had no time for Hogan, just as many fans in the arena no longer did.

Despite this, Rollins admitted it was a shame, as Hogan had significantly contributed to the wrestling industry and wasn’t someone who typically disrespected the business. He believed Hogan still had value to offer, but only if he approached the situation with humility, took responsibility, and showed a desire to be better.

With Seth Rollins sharing his clear perspective on Hulk Hogan, it will be interesting to see if the WWE veteran would ever change his way and introduce more inclusivity into his way of life.
