American Idol season 23 winner Jamal Roberts revealed his latest career update on Instagram.
The singer announced he’ll be a special guest on Brandy and Monica’s The Boy Is Mine tour in the fall of 2025.
He also gave an update about his new music.
Get ready Jamal Roberts fans — the American Idol winner is coming to a city near you.
Just over a month after the singer was crowned the winner of American Idol season 23, he went on Instagram to share a major update in his career. As for what Jamal’s big music news was, he announced he’ll be a special guest (along with Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland) on Brandy and Monica‘s The Boy Is Mine tour in the fall of 2025. And if that’s not enough to entice fans, Jamal also teased there is a lot more to come in regards to him releasing new tunes for folks to listen to.
“The things God is doing in my life 🥺,” he emotionally wrote in the caption on June 24. “Hmmmmm and new music is on the way 🔥🔥🔥 Sit tight 🤞🏾 oh and I love y’all ❤️💪🏾. #YourFavoriteNephew #yourfavoritecousin #THEAmericanIdol.”
As soon as folks learned of Jamal’s latest music update, they immediately took to the comments to celebrate with him.
“When I saw your name, I was TOO GEEKED 🙌🏽😭🙌🏽 To God be ALL the Glory! I’m sooooo excited!!!” one person exclaimed in the comments. “Congratulations 🔥🔥 you deserve it!! Can’t wait to attend this tour!” another penned. “Yessir!! LET’S GO BROOO 🤩🤝🏾🔥🤍,” a different follower added.
Now, this is an exciting prospect fans certainly didn’t see coming! And that’s not all Jamal has in store for his followers these days. In between making his dreams come true, he’s keeping busy as a dad to daughters Harmoni, Lyrik and Gianna. In fact, folks got to see him post a photo of all three girls together, along with a note on how much the trio mean to him in his life.
“My whole world ❤️😩🤧 #girldad,” he affectionately wrote on Instagram on June 17.
Well, we’re ready to see what’s next … and maybe we need to buy a ticket to one of Jamal’s shows!
