Country music star says one Donald Trump move is ‘awesome’: ‘Not gonna lie’

It was not long ago that Jelly Roll was spotted at a UFC event right next to Donald Trump, and maybe he is trying to score some points toward getting into another fight card in the future.

A mega fight-card, in fact.

The country music star spent some time hosting “Jimmy Kimmel Live” recently, and he took a moment to praise the president.

“Let’s talk about the other big brawl that everybody is talking about, it’s the UFC fight President Trump’s planning on having on the South Lawn on the 4th of next July,” the singer said during his monologue. “Now, listen, I know this is causing a little bit of controversy. But for me, I think it’s awesome. I’m not gonna lie.”

Trump said earlier this month that the White House will host a UFC event next Fourth of July, and many of the sport’s top fighters having been clamoring for an opportunity to get on that unique card.

“Where I’m from, watching two meth heads beat the (expletive) out of each other on a lawn is just part of our year,” Jelly Roll told the crowd. “I tell you what, a UFC fight at the White House might not be what our Founding Fathers would have wanted. But our founding stepdads would have loved that (expletive).”

He is all in on the idea.

“We should put an octagon at the Pentagon and have a couple of geometry teachers fight it out,” he added. “Let’s settle this once and for all.”

As for big events, Jelly Roll is preparing to wrestle at SummerSlam, and made some more news on that front on Wednesday while hosting Kimmel. He had WWE star Randy Orton on and interviewed him before Drew McIntyre showed up to confront him.

“Nobody flew here to see you act like a prick,” Orton told McIntyre. “Wrong time, wrong place, why don’t you back the (expletive) off me.”

He then shoved McIntyre and the two fought off set, leaving Jelly Roll standing behind the desk alone.

“I don’t know what to do,” the singer said. “I guess we’re going to go to commercial break.”

That is when Logan Paul walked in from offstage.

“Woah, actually, no I don’t think we are going to go to commercial break,” he said.

Fans booed Paul and he booed them back before saying, “Logan Paul doesn’t want to be in Los Angeles either.”

He then called Jelly Roll “stupid.”

“What are dummy?” Paul asked. “You a late-night talk show host? You a wrestler? You a country star? I told you this Mr. Dummyroll, stay in your lane, stupid. Because I’ll tell you what you are, you my friend are a greasy, redneck, prison rat.”

Jelly Roll started to respond, but Paul slapped him in the face, and said, “Shut the hell up Jelly Roll. There’s your receipt stupid. Aye, congrats, it’s the Logan Paul show now. A real superstar. So ladies and gentlemen, you want to see a real star, I’m here. Why don’t you leave, huh?”

Jelly Roll attends the 2024 CMT Music Awards at Moody Center on April 07, 2024 in Austin, Texas; Republican presidential nominee, former U.S. President Donald Trump, arrives on stage during a town hall campaign event at the Lancaster County Convention Center on October 20, 2024 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Trump is campaigning the entire day in the state of Pennsylvania. Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris continue to campaign in battleground swing states ahead of the November 5 election.

That is when Jelly Rolly grabbed Paul by the throat and slammed him through the desk.

He then told fans they could see him tag with Orton at SummerSlam in August before cutting to commercial.
