Travis Kelce Responds to Claims He and Taylor Swift Are Publicly Dating — But Taylor Swift Jaw-Dropping New Look Steals the Show!

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce addressed speculation about his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift, dismissing claims that they seek attention.

You heard that right. All of the forced NFL shots of Tay Tay’s reactions during games and all of those public date night experiences with photographers in tow are totally organic events.

Kelce made the comments on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast on Tuesday.

“We’re having fun with it, being a couple,” the three-time Super Bowl champ said. “It gets thrown out there that we’re trying to seek attention now and then, but it’s like, we’re just enjoying life, having fun, going to hockey games, kind of introducing her to some more of the sports world that she hasn’t really [seen].”

The couple was recently spotted at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Travis Kelce also highlighted the unexpected challenge of dating Taylor Swift – constant paparazzi attention, such as being photographed while playing golf.

“It’s just the paparazzi — that’s probably the only thing I didn’t really grasp until you’re in it,” Kelce said. “But that’s probably the craziest part, though.”

“Like, I’m just playing golf and all of a sudden in the trees there’s a (expletive) guy with a camera.”

The couple is being overexposed at every juncture, and Kelce is going with the ‘Aw shucks, we’re just trying to live our lives’ defense.

It’s even outside of football, as evidenced by this teaser trailer of Kelce presenting a clue about friendship bracelets, a reference to Tay’s concert-goers and how they exchange them at shows, for a promo of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?

“Nicole has 98 beads to make six friendship bracelets,” Kelce reads, eliciting laughter from the audience.

“What’s so funny, guys?” he responded, feigning ignorance of the friendship bracelet trend attached to his girlfriend.

Tee-hee. Get it? Tee-hee. But they don’t want attention, we promise!

You’re Gonna See More of Taylor

Taylor Swift is excited for the upcoming NFL season, as it will be the first full season since she started dating Travis Kelce, during which she won’t be juggling a grueling tour schedule.

Having wrapped her record-breaking Eras Tour in December 2024, Swift is looking forward to a less chaotic period with more time to support Kelce at Kansas City Chiefs games. And more Chiefs games mean more screen time for the pop singer—every reaction to every play, plastered on the jumbotron.

“Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season. Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule,” a source close to the couple told People magazine.

“Her schedule is much more open now that the Eras Tour is wrapped and she’s genuinely excited to have the time and flexibility to show up for Travis more consistently,” the source added.

Kelce confirmed as much during the podcast.

“She tried to get to as many as she could last year, and she came to a lot,” Kelce said. “We’ll have Tay representing over at Arrowhead [this season].”
