Six years after winning the American Idol Season 17 (2019) title, Laine Hardy is back in the news with more happy news. The Louisiana native, 24, celebrated his wedding to Jordan Gautreau, a former New Orleans Saints cheerleader and New Orleans Pelicans dancer on Friday, June 20.

Hardy posted the news on his Instagram with photos of the happy couple, writing: “Officially introducing Mr. And Mrs. Hardy 💒 06/20/25.”

The wedding took place at Magnolia Fields, a wedding venue in Laine’s home state.

According to The Advocate, the ceremony was performed by the Rev. Jarrett Wells. The bride wore a simple, elegant full-length white off-the-shoulder gown and carried a bouquet of mixed fresh flowers. While Hardy was in a midnight blue tuxedo. The couple’s 4-month-old son, Hollis James, also wore midnight blue pants, vest and bowtie.

The couple met in 2022 when Jordan approached Laine about recording a video for her grandmother’s birthday. Her grandmother was a big fan of Laine’s from American Idol. One thing led to another and they began dating.

Then, in 2024 Jordan became pregnant, giving birth this past February to a son, Hollis.

In a joint Instagram post, they wrote: “Welcome to the world Hollis James Hardy! We are over the moon about this little boy 🩵 An absolute gift from God. Let the adventure begin!”

Hardy was only 18 when he won American Idol and signed with Hollywood Records. He has since become an independent artist, releasing his most recent single, “That Man,” in January.
