It’s believed that Katy Perry hasn’t been taking her split from Orlando Bloom well after she became emotional onstage during a recent concert. The “Dark Horse” singer was touring amid the news that she and her partner of nearly 10 years ended their engagement and called it quits.
On June 25, a source told US Weekly: “Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is, of course, upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”
A few days after the news, fans saw just how upset she was when she spoke with tear-filled eyes at her show in Adelaide, Australia. She told the crowd: “Thank you for always being there for me, Australia. It means the world.”
The weekend before Perry’s ex was in Venice for Jeff Bezos’ wedding to Lauren Sánchez. There were reports that Bloom was ready to party as a single man and rumors that he may have tried to hook up with Kim Kardashian and Sydney Sweeney.
Here’s what an expert is saying about how Bloom was acting when he attended Bezos and Sánchez’s multi-day extravaganza in the Italian city.
Expert reveals key signs that suggest Bloom has already ‘bounced back’
Darren Stanton is a body language and behavioral expert with a degree in psychology. He previously worked as a police officer and used his expertise to uncover the truth when interviewing hundreds of suspects. He later moved into media and TV as a consultant and has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector.”
Speaking on behalf of Slingo, Stanton told Showbiz Cheat Sheet: “Orlando looked in good spirits — no signs of sadness, hesitancy, or lack of confidence. When he was photographed with Kim Kardashian, he had his hands on his hips, which is a very dominant almost flirty gesture. It shows he certainly isn’t feeling sorry for himself or there’s a lack of confidence.
“Facially, there were plenty of genuine smiles, with crows’ feet and laugh lines. When he was smiling, his whole face was engaged. On the face of it, he certainly didn’t seem to have been too affected by the breakup. He was out and about and mingling, willing to be photographed so openly, which is another sign that he has bounced back fairly quickly.”
Bloom reposted quotes about ‘loneliness’ and ‘sadness’
While Bloom seemed to be moving forward and handling things better than Perry with his appearance at Bezos’ wedding, his Instagram post on July 2 raised a few eyesbrows.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor reposted a carousel of musings from Swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist Carl Jung.

Some of the quotes mention “lonliness” and “sadness” but whatever Bloom meant to convey is up for debate and speculation since he did not offer a caption explaining the cyrptic post.
