An American Idol winner announced that they’ll welcome another baby to their family, who’s due to be born in fall 2025.
In an Instagram post, American Idol season 10 winner Scotty McCreery’s wife, Gabi McCreery, announced the wonderful news that the couple is expecting another baby, who’s due to be born in fall 2025. She posted pictures from a photo shoot of her, Scotty, and their son, Merrick Avery, who was born on October 24, 2022, and is called by his middle name. Gabi captioned the post, “A new best friend coming this fall!,” with two blue heart emojis.
In the comments section of the post, Scotty’s American Idol season 10 friends congratulated him and Gabi about the exciting news. Runner-up Lauren Alaina, who’s expecting a baby of her own in 2025 with husband Cam Arnold, wrote, “Yay!!!! Congrats.” James Durbin, who placed fourth in season 10, wrote, “You guys are the cutest! Congratulations on your growing family Scotty. I’m so proud of you.”

Scotty Won’t Be Touring In Fall 2025

In an Instagram post, Scotty listed his 2025 tour dates, which began on March 27 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and includes consistent dates around Canada, the United States, Ireland, and the United Kingdom, until August 2 in Billings, Montana. He then has one date on September 4 in Clearwater, Florida, and one on December 12 in Pompano Beach, Florida. Scotty’s break from his tour during fall 2025 coincides with the birth of his second child, so that’s probably why he won’t be performing at that time.
