When it comes to marriage, Offset says he’s one and done.
The rapper, 33, candidly discussed the topic of holy matrimony during an appearance on the Friday, Aug. 22 edition of the Full Send Podcast. His comments come amid his divorce from estranged wife Cardi B, 32.
The rappers tied the knot on Sept. 20, 2017. During their romance, the former couple welcomed their daughter, Kulture Kiari, 7, and son Wave Set, 3½.Their third child Blossom, was born in September 2024 — two months after Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024. After being asked by host Kyle Forgeard why he would never get married again, Offset said it’s simply “not for me.”
“I’ve done it. Had three kids with it. It’s like a mission that’s been complete,” he said.

After Forgeard, who is two years younger than Offset, said marriage is something he’d like to experience one day, the Migos rapper agreed that it all comes down to experience.
“You see, I experienced it so I’ve already done it,” he said while reiterating that he would still not want his “happily ever after” with someone new because “everything is temporary.”
When Forgeard asked if Offset would recommend others get married, he said he would advise them otherwise.
“I would say, unless you’re cool with changing your life entirely,” he said. “You got a partner that’s different. Especially when it’s written and it’s a real thing. Like is this partner’s different?”

Offset later explained what he meant by telling Forgeard that he wouldn’t tell him to get married while he’s busy working on his career.
The Migos rapper previously declared that the closing track of his recently released album KIARI is about the end of his relationship with Cardi.

“It’s about moving on, like, peacefully. That’s what the message is supposed to be,” he said in an interview with the Associated Press. “It’s all love and peace. I just ended the album with that, just to end that chapter because it’s time to move on — it’s over and done with.”
“It was great while it lasted. That shouldn’t be the topic for either one of us no more. It’s a book that’s closed,” he continued.
