HE DIDN’T EVEN LOOK BACK… π³πΉπ¨
New CCTV footage has captured the chilling moment a man allegedly opened fire at a Melbourne home before calmly walking away.
But the detail now gripping people is what happened in the next 10 seconds β because the camera appears to capture a figure emerging near the property just after the incident, and investigators are now paying close attention to that momentβ¦ ππ³
Man who fired at Melbourne home was filming attack, police say
A black-clad, masked man caught on camera calmly firing a pistol at a Melbourne home appeared to be recording the attack on his own phone, police say.
Police say the man got out of a black Land Rover on Elmwood Plane in Craigieburn, just before 1pm on October 24 last year.

Video showed the man firing three shots from an apparent handgun towards a house.
There was nobody in the home at the time of the shooting.
The man is described as having worn a black hooded jumper, black face mask, balaclava, black tracksuit pants with a grey waistband, and black shoes with white soles.
He fled the scene in a southerly direction.
Police believe the shooting was a targeted incident.
Man was recording his own attack
Senior Constable Mitchell Jones, addressing the media this morning, said the man appeared to have been recording the attack on his phone.
He said it βdoesnβt appearβ the shooting was intended to harm people, but that it was βpotentiallyβ intended as a threat.
The incident was not reported to police until January, Jones said.

He confirmed police had not unearthed the video recorded by the shooter.
The grainy nature of the footage they do have access to means police have been unable to identify the car or the gun – beyond describing it as a handgun – while the lapsed time between incident and report ruled out the possibility of a ballistic analysis at the scene.
Jones said police were seeking any possible information.
He said the people living at the address had been βquite shocked and concernedβ by the incident, but had been willing to speak to police.
At this stage, Jones said, the shooting was being investigated as a lone incident.
